1.) How long can a female remain fertile enough to give decent sized litters?

2.)Can an older boa be bred if she has never knowingly been bred before?

Story:
I have been offered a 9.5' female boa that is 16 years old. They do not know if it has ever been bred, most certainly not in the last few years. I have too many boas to need a "pet" of that size, so in order for me to invest in her, I would need your opinions.

My thoughts would be that perhaps she is too old to throw a decent clutch, if she can still even ovulate. And, if she has never been bred before, it may be too difficult for her in her middle years.

Opinions please...

Thanks....
