However, from what I understand, it is a recessive color mutation that increases the overall red appearence. I also believe them to be from Coasta Rica(?????), and were originally worked with by Ron St Pierre, who also had the very first Motley Boa.

Rich Ihle, Tracy Barker, Tom Burke, Bill Kirby a few others are also working with these colorful genetic wonders. I am sure any one of these people would be happy to answer your questions as to their background.
