beardie care question?

is it beneficail to have belly heat for a beardie? i have read about 80 different care sheets and three books and they all say different things. i know they do not sense heat under there belly but can it hurt to have a heat pad on the basking side? thanks

p.s. i ask cause i am getting an adult beardie in a couple of weeks and i want to know how to take care of the little guy

The next time the shuttle lands, lets all get dressed up in ape suits and charge at the astronaughts yelling and ranting. That way they can try to figure out where they took a wrong turn.
