Lovely snake. My male isn't that light now, but he was close to it at one time. Just going by my experience with him (my only rainbow), I think it is possible for them to be lighter when they're young and turn darker with age. Hopefully Jeff Clark will chime in here on this one as he specializes in rainbows.



As an aside, I was in Missoula several years ago and have to say you live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country I've ever visited.
