My leo's thrive on mealies... they are much easier to handle and they don't tend to jump away when feeding the leo's. But definitely dust whatever and I offer young leo's a baby jar lid with a crushed up calcium carbonate pill in it... They will lick it occasionally and pick up some calcium...
