Even if they did take decent care of your dog...that doesn't mean they know what they're doing with reptiles. NO baby leos should be kept on sand EVER... Only full grown adult leos can be kept on sand...and only if the owner has ALL other aspects of husbandry perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend getting your little one off the sand asap to prevent the possibility of impaction...especially since you are feeding it crickets. When hunting crickets it will invariably injest a great deal of sand...and you could very easily end up with an impacted leo. | ||
