a couple questions about home made..

For the containers where the eggs will be in.. Do you put the lid on it completly? do i make holes in the container?... also for the Aquarium... do i cover the top? if so with what?... i actually have a piece of glass that fits right over the top... oh and will the humidity be to high?.. low..?...
