I know i dont post much, and when i do it isnt very constructive. But i have been reading this all along and thought you should hear the opinion of a lurker. I think that is rubbish. you cannot tell someone how to say things theyre going to say or make them change their way of saying it. which means some are cut and dry, some are humorous. i think those humorous people add a little spice to things, which makes things interesting, livens things up,and also makes that person more believeable, and more intelligent sounding in my book. someone who spits out facts sounds like theyve copied/pasted it onto the back of their hand. however someone who can joke a bit when giving advice or information sounds like they have experience. enough experience that theyre comfortable enough to joke around about the subject. People who take jokes the wrong way, thats on them. maybe they need to be welcomed to the real world. It isnt the speakers fault if the reciever takes the advice the wrong way,so that is on them.
