They are pretty hardy, but they can sometimes be picky eaters. They are usually very calm as adults, but flighty as juveniles. An adult would be a good presentation animal, but a juvie wouldn't. The babies that I had last year were really good eaters. They take about 2-3 years to reach adult size.
