The link is to the V.P.I. page on Loxocemus. You are right about locale. My bad. Their range is Central America, not south, as i had mistakenly thought. They mention that their range is farther south than Honduras. The pic in the middle shows a Loxocemus with a yellow throat. I agree with you on the eyes being too protruding and the snout, and it is definately slender. If you find out what it is, let us know?
