Well, David I wish you well in your breeding projects. Sounds like your really trying to do the right thing, and not take short cuts. It's good that you have supportive parents because at a young age taking on this huge responsabilty can be very hard, and expensive. The most important advice to give you would be too be honest, and supportive to customers. Show them you know what your doing. From the first time you speek to a customer through the money transaction, shipping and any problems the new owners might have after they get their new baby. Be as proffesional as possible, some will not trust dealing with a younger breeder. These people you got to win over with knowledge, and possitve refrences. Keep names and e-mail addresses and ask customers if they would mind being references to other possible customers. This helps a lot in establishing a new business, and holding on too doubtfull customers.
As for the stool samples. If the dragons are beign housed together, you really only need to bring in one sample, and get enough meds for all the dragons. Might be a bad idea to treat a baby of that age and weight with meds. In my opinion this should be done after the dragon has put on it's weight and establishes it's self. I would just treat the parents 3 months before breeding, giving them time to gain any weight loss during treatments before breeding them.
