I find humor in some of the bite cases...you really see some people who are just asking to be bit...the guy earlier in the season whose S. pacific escaped (yikes!) from it's enclosure, he found it, and instead of using a hook (did this guy even own one????) or at the very least a broom or something, HE REACHED DOWN AND PICKED IT UP! In my opinion, he was a waste of the 54 or so vials of crofab they had administer to him...people like that should not be keeping hots. Or the guy the other night who believed that DRINKING VENOM would provide him immunity from rattlesnakes...ummmmm, no. Then of course there are the legitimate bites like the poor fellow who ended up dying as a result of accidently stepping on a S. pacific (seems like this is the most common biter in that area). That guy I really felt sorry for, and his family too...but not these morons who intentionally do stupid things that result in them sucking up the AV that should be delegated to a life more worthy of saving. Just an opinion, maybe harsh, but such is life.
