Posted by: cmfiscel at Thu May 20 18:55:46 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cmfiscel ] i was using a 100 watt zoo-med halogen bulb for the basking side which brought temperatures to about 100 degrees. the light was about 10 inches from the basking surface. i started noticing that my beardie would bask in the most intense area of heat with his front legs off of the log. he wouldn't stay there too long before moving to a less intense area of the log. so.....i went out and purchased an exo terra day glo bulb (75watt) to make things more bearable. does anyone have any feedback as to how these bulbs have worked for you? (life, heat produced etc.) thanks....chris | ||
