Also, I've heard that unlike snakes, beardies can see the red or "black" light, so it can disturb them when they're trying to sleep. I don't know if this is fact, but it kinda makes sense. I guess the best thing is no night lights at all, and if your room temp gets below 65 at night use a ceramic heat emitter.
