It's a good idea to check up on that as there are far more deadly snakes out there then copperheads. One way to tell some venomous snakes is the head and eyes. If you notice the copper head has almost 'cat' like eyes with vertical pupils. You'll also notice the triangular-shaped head. That's a main way to tell if the snake is venomous,although not ALL snakes that are venonous have triangular shaped heads. Again check your States reptile guide to find out more. [ Hide Replies ]
