CB = Captive Bred - but you have to be certain their definition of CB. To me that means Boas in my collection bred and had babies. Or I have a Boa on loan that is from someone elses collection and babies were produced. NOT Wild Caught Boas breeding and having a clutch.
Then there are the LTC that I guess would also have CB clutches. These are Long Term Captives, meaning caught in the wild, but have been in a collection for a few years and are doing fine without parasites etc.
Farmed = wild caught Boa, gravid, kept until she gives birth in home country, babies are shipped to US, mother released, kept, sold etc.
Farm Bred, some will say captive "born" to cloud the issue. Meaning they were born in captivity. This to me is sketchy becaues you would assume NO parasites etc. BUT.. captive born could still be from the jungle!
WC- Wild caught, yanked from a tree and shipped to US for sale. Usually along with the internal and external parasites included for FREE.
I guess those are what I consider the definitions. Again.. depending on who you ask or who is selling they could word them differently.
I would just double check before you purchase something on the exact meaning of what they have.
Hope this helps. ----- Thanks
