Ive got a buddy down in Florida (hello Frank B) who produces het anerys every season it seems (well every season Ive known him, approx 4 years).

Each season theese 100% het anerys are ON FIRE, some of the most colorfull babies Ive ever seen. High pinks and "blueish" colors, strong contrasting patterns, ect.

Not sure if it has any bearing here, but figured Id toss it out, as you did mention the parents were high color commons.
