A black rat snake will definately reach 5 feet in length with some rare cases reaching 7-8 feet. 5 feet is the normal for most rat snakes. I assume you want something that can live in a 29 gallon tank it's whole life so there are two snakes I will recommend that are fairly easy to take care of and are very pretty snakes. | ||
