I use carrots to keep moisture available to them as they don't seem to dry up as fast as potatoes. I use a combination of oatmeal and powdered baby cereal to feed them. I have recently discovered that crickets will devour bearded dragon pellets. What could be better to gutload with? For dusting I use T-Rex dust. What I did was take one of those disposable plastic sandwich containers made by Glad and cut a hole in the lid. I put the T-rex dust in the container and put a funnel in the hole in the lid. I put the crickets throught he funnel into the container. Just shake it up real good and they're covered. I have a couple holes in the sides of the container that I tape up. Once they are dusted I take the tape off and set the container in the cage and just let the crickets crawl out of the holes in the side. Works like a charm. I have several containers so I can feed several dragons at the same time. [ Hide Replies ]
