6 inches is a bit on the small side for a beardie that age. Mine was 7 inches at 4 weeks old. Don't concern yourself with what the other pet stores' lizards look like. Pet stores are kind of notorious for not taking proper care of their reptiles and fibbing a little bit on age and sizes.



If you tell us all about your husbandry we may be able to help determine what may be causing your beardie to stay small. What size cage, what are you feeding, what temps are the basking spot and cool spot, what kind of substrate, what kind of suppliments... all that.
