I would cut back on the mealies. I would only feed those a couple times a week with maybe 5 at a time. The crickets are where you are probably under feeding. At that age and size they can eat up to 100 crickets daily. I would feed crickets at least twice a day and offer maybe 15-25 per feeding. If she will eat those within ten minutes then you can go higher. The growth rate they experience at that age requires a lot of protien. I have a little girl about 2 1/2 months old that is already 11" long. The mealies you are feeding are high in fat and could be attributed to her looking pudgy or fat. They should be considered a candy. Make sure your are supplementing and dusting the crickets and salads. On the other hand you don't have to feed crickets at all if you want to compensate for the protien through other sources. The above methods of feeding will only ensure that your dragon has all the needed nutrients to experience maximum growth potential. A big dragon that has been fed properly is a healthy dragon. | ||
