Hey,
I am not aware of any revisions being made to the genus Elaphe, regarding the
Corn snake. As for Black Bloods, they can run any where from 125-250, for young babies and juvies. You might even end up with some exceptional looking adult if you're lucky. Adults command a bit more i.e., 300-600 dollars, for super looking adults with great phenotypic characters; particularly those found further south in southern Sumatra, where they are particularly darker in color, with the dark heads and bodies.
This is one of the hardest species to find great looking adults or hatchlings of, and keepers interested in the species often find them selves in a frenzy, when trying to locate great looking specimens of the Black Bloods. I know! I've been guilty of it my self.
