I have had very good luck with my Black Kingsnake up until just recently. She got cought on the rocks in her cage and got an infection which I cought just before it turned into pneumonia. Then a few days ago she striked at the glass and got a concusion. Now for the past two days she has been writhing around her cage like she's having a seizure. The only other time I saw a snake act like that was when it was being attacked by birds of ants. Anyways after she does that, she lays there in a daze, very dosile, usally "playing dead", sometimes it looks she has sucked in her gut (for lack of better wording) when she "plays dead". For example today she had one of her fits and the layed there curled up like a pile of dog do-do for about 2 or 3 hours then crawled under her cage carpet. She has also lost her appetite, she used to eat at least 3 and up to 12 mice a week (usally about 6 mice/week) and she hasn't eaten in 2 weeks which really concerens me. And the last time she ate she only eat one mouse. She is not even a year old yet, is my frist snake, I love her like a child and hate to see her like this. It's bad enough that she got an infection which turned into mouthrot which almost caused pneumonia. I'm not sure what to do untill I can get her to the vet.
