HELP.... My Borneo Blood Python looks to have some kind of ailment

I had just noticed tonight that my blood's tip of his tail looks to be "without skin"...Just about an 1/8th to a 1/16th of an inch is all, but is this the beginning of something ? I had treated all my herps for mites which one had and they seem to have gone.The blood hasn't gotten them at all. Is there anything else that this could be from? It doesn't look too serious but I still noticed it and am worried. Thanks...
