well i heard bearded dragons love to swim, i dont know if this is true or not but my boyfriend put his bearded dragon in his pool (3ft) and she had a blast swimming (the first time) during this time she met the filter jet... she was not happy about that and caused her to panic. instead of swimming with her tail, she started doggy paddling and seemed to become stressed. this was her first experience so she didnt use her tail at first but she got the hang of it. so if u see that your beardie needs help, make sure to help him/her out. try putting it on the ladder and see if it will jump in, but be aware and keep a close eye or it might become a sinker!
