She's opaque now. Last year she laid two clutches of eggs 28 days apart. One of 20 eggs and the other had 17. I hatched 35 healthy babies from her.

I had another female lay 29 eggs (one clutch!) this year. Many of them were infertile, however. There are eight that remain viable at this point (a month later). This female is getting ready to lay her second clutch. Hopefully, there will be better fertility this time around.

Another female I have that is a sporadic feeder and not fat (about 270 grams) laid 19 perfect eggs this year. Sometimes big is not necessarily better.
