Yes, I heard about your big Mexican. Would love to see some photos! Last year my big female laid a clutch of 20 eggs and another clutch of 17. I hatched 35 babies from her. The funny thing is, despite her massive size and weight, she does not appear to be gravid now.
I have another female lay 29 eggs this year. She is only in the mid 500's in gram weight. Of these eggs, only 9 were fertile, however.
