Hey...heres an update on the babies! we have successfully sold most of the first clutch and the whole second clutch! The first clutch we are letting them grow, and im going to keep the first one that came out of the egg, he looks just like my beloved ralph! The third clutch has hatched, from our huge Anna Nicole, and the babies were 4 inches out of the egg! They are absolutly enormous!



Well ANYWAYS! For my question.. My male that i got a while ago still hasnt tamed down. He is a subadult, about 8-9 months. He doesnt "attack" you anymore, but he definetly runs away when i open the cage, and when i pick him up he squirms and opens his mouth. I dont grab him, i scoop him up from the side, but he still flares, etc. Ive been trying to feed him his fav foods, but he just ignores them from my hand and wont eat out of the cage. When i do get him out, he is paralyzed with fear in my hands, and then suddenly will make a break for it. I understand his fear of me, im a huge creature reaching in to grab him, and he must run for his life! I have continued handling him for a few months now daily, but he still has not clamed down one bit. I am definetly going to continue trying, but anyone have any suggestions meanwhile? Thanks so much!
