Turns out the carpet cleaners came in last night to do their annual rug shampoo. My desk, as well as every desk around, has been 'vaccuumed' as well. Not a cricket in sight! I can't believe it, looks like I'm getting away with it!

A side note. I threw the box of remaining crickets in my car after the discovery yesterday. It was a while before I finally got out there, and about half of the crickets survived to finally make it home with me. My son (6 years old and VERY observant) looks at the box and says, "Dad, the crickets are getting out of the box because it's not taped right." Sure enough, the box was only taped enough to hold the flaps down. All four sides were left open, and that's how the crix came out. Talked to the cricket place owner. Apologized again and thanked me for bringing this to his attention.

This is just another example of why I hate crickets!!!!!
