There is a lot of hype and things out there that talk about burm disease (or any reptile diesease).



But don't worry about it. It's fairly rare, uncommon, and really doesn't happen to single-reptile households.



Most of the diseases happen when new animals are introduced to an established collection with any sort of quarentine. And even then, it is fairly rare.



As long as you keep your burm healthy and well, 99.9% chance nothing is going to happen.
