The cage is the same humidity as the hot room. The hot room is a good 85*F at least, I know I sweat when I'm in there. So, to get an infection would be taking him out of the hot room (which I have done). That can be easily avoided though, it's a big room and I don't mind staying in it. But I have stopped holding him, I gave it up for this 15 day lent.
