Yes, get as much information as you can from as many different sources as you can. Thats very important to do with pretty much everything in your life. There is always more than one view on things and its good to see both. Just the fact that you are researching the possibility of combining these two species is good, many people do not. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged from seeking out information,
Also, try to understand that many of us on these forums get to read questions like yours often. As much as it might just be a frog or toad to someone else they are our passion and we care about them just as much as someone who keeps horses cares about their horse, its just that not everyone can relate to someone that is interested in amphibians.
