Yes, too much humidity can cause jungle rot, and is a good way to grow bacteria and mold. You need to increase the air circulation in your tank, either by adding a computer fan or extra vents. How are you producing all this humidity? I used a humidifier and I had a timer so it would only run for a short period of time every hour.
