Some people are definitely not interested in possible hets. I think there is a basic personality difference between those who are interested in possible hets and those who would never consider them.



To me, possible hets are the only way to go. I can't afford the morph and in most cases not even the 100% het so the possible het is my only chance. I know that it's likely that half of my possible het projects will not pay off but hopefully half will and I'll be able to produce a morph I would not be able to buy for years.



If I actually had a bunch of money I might even buy possible hets anyway. I like the idea of getting in cheap even though it costs me a lot of extra work (more animals to hopefully cover the odds) and is unsure.
