Posted by: biggworm at Fri Jun 25 02:26:22 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by biggworm ] Sorry to hear that.I just went through that with a W.C 7 ft. guyana female.Six months with the respitory inf.Jonathan Brady turned me on to the tylan-500.I used(.10-cc/ that's a tenth cc) per pound. So if the snake is 8 pounds,.80.Shot in the upper half of the her body, every three days.So if you shot her up on a sunday, then wednesday is the next day.I raised temps 85-95 with low relative humidity.VERY IMPORTANT while your snake is on antibiotics make sure she is well HYDRATED.I soaked my snake in warm water for two hours once a week.I covered her cage with a dark sheet, and left her alone.I kept using the TYLAN a little over three weeks almost a month till all signs of the R.I where gone.Sometimes stopping the antibiotics just when they start working is a mistake. Please check out Jeff Ronne's site for the proper dosage. All I can tell you is what worked for me.GOOD LUCK MAN.Check her out, solid, remember 6 months of sever R.I.
