The role of a legislator is not to impose their personal opinion but rather implement rules that reflect the local populace that they are supposed to represent. SO, if such requests are not unusual than that means the local populace supports the possession of exotic animals. Further, how many of these such animals have escaped and injured members of the public? I'd bet zero.
Sounds like more API related BS.
