He sits up on his perch about a foot off the bottom of the cage, and he rarely comes down. I did seperate my male and female when they were about 6 months old to prevent them from mating however. Have you considered seperating them? I wouldn't worry about this behavior though, because they all have different personalities. If they aren't as close in proximity anymore, it's probably only because they have gotten more territorial as they have aged. Wait for more people to respond, but I would recommend seperating them and letting them do their own thing. I know it's kind of sad to seperate them at first, but I think it's better for them to have their own space in the long run - even if it is a really big tank (which is great they have that much space by the way). I wish my 4' enclosures were 6' long in hindsight. | ||
