Hi all. Its sunday morning, not much doing, so I thought--hey, why not talk about my eggs for the season.

In my first season on breeding, my three females laid collectively 32 eggs. I had 13 live births, however 3 managed to be blind. I'm not so sure how common that is, but whatever caused it, I learned a lot from. I've missed every hatching, but I'm looking forward to see some hatch. I've had 3 eggs which started to sweat on the expected hatch day, and got all excited, but all molded, and when cut open, nothing was inside. I guess thats a sign that my females put out tough eggs. Still got 2 more in the incubator for the end of this month.

I've got 10 live babies now growing, eating, and pooping like monsters. I've also bought 7 leos from Robin back in April. I've battled pinworms (not me, one of my geckos) and built a rack system.

Overall from my first season breeding and really getting to reptiles, it was just a great expiriance. I'm done blabbing now--kinda hungry, and can't wait for more lizard things to come my way. My adventure started 4 years ago, and will continue after Daytona this year. Wahoo!

Michael
