All my cages are made by me. I thought about making smaller size cages, but for the cost, I go with the breeder size. I bought the melamine in precut pieces at lowes or home depot. The top and bottom are 48x24 and the sides are 17x24. I use the quarter inch white bathroom wall board for the back and that seems to work fine so far. The front has a bottom board for sill, and a glass framed in for door with hinges. All together I can make one for less than $60.00 bucks! Not too bad for the price! Thanks Andy
