You think thats bad, when I first bought my bp, the guy at the pet store told me I needed a 150 watr bulb! I took it home and turned it on with my poor little bp in the cage. Later on I checked the temps.... it was like 120 - 130 degrees at the hottest spot!!! Im lucky I didnt kill my bp. I took it back for a refund, and got a UTH.
