Yep, that is too hot but don't worry. You're snake has probably avoided the hot spot until now. Get a lower wattage bulb and keep checking the temps. If you are using a 60-watt, try a 40. I try to stay between 90 and 95 degrees on the hot end, though 95 can be too hot in a smaller enclosure.
