I incubate the aurics along with cresteds at 75 degrees F. For media I use a roughly 50/50 mix of coarse vermiculite and coconut fiber thet is moist but not soggy.



I have had a few problems with 100% vermiculite (especially the fine stuff) with cresteds. A few hatchlings were lost from having the vermiculite impacted in their mouth.
