No matter what you all did over the 4th of July weekend... I had the best Saturday out of you all. I woke up early, checked on my girl and saw that she hadn't shed yet. Gave the cage a quick mist, then headed out the door to S&S Exotic Pets in North-Central Houston. As you will see this is the most amazing pet store I have ever been to, and their reptile collection is out of this world! So when they hosted a reptile day, I just had to be there. I took tons of pics, but I'm only gonna post my favorites... If I posted them all, I would be here all day. Here we go!
Pretty Albino Burmese Python... a bit camera shy.

STUNNING Amarali Boa -- this pic does no justice!

A couple of very nice Amazon Basin RTB's

An acrobatic Argentine Boa -- I wish this pic had turned out better cause this was a very cool looking snake.

Awesome baby Rainbow Boas... I want one!

A cage full of baby Rock Pythons

A juvenile Caiman in my hand... 8) 8)

A dark and sexy Central American RTB

1 out of a pair of huge Dumeril Boas

This Hogg Island Boa was just watching everybody go by...

Couple of shots of some breeding Rainbows

A red Tegu finishing up his shed

Some very nice Colombians... gotta have those

A jaw-dropping white King Snake - not to friendly though!
Whats the term for these... Lucristic???

And holy huge snakes Batman... a yellow Anaconda! still a baby...

My final snake pic... Out of all the people standing around when this happened I was the only one holding a camera. I must have showed this pic to 50 people that day cause so many were talking about it. Again... the pics do no justice to how cool this really was. One of the huge Dumerils lifted his head and let out a gigantic snake yawn! Totally cool!

Just when you thought I was done... MORE PICS!!
Although, I'm done with snake pics, there were just a few more I had to share. Now keep in mind.. this is a pet store and not a zoo. Some of the animals are not for sale though...
A sloth ??? Not sure who would want one of these as a pet... kinda cool, but U G L Y

South American Cotimundi... really cool, but very very messy

Porcupine... again cool, but...??

These last 2 animals are not for sale...
Live and in person... a male Bengal Tiger and a female African Lion! WOW!

And that's it! What a day...
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better though, I came home and caught my boa in mid shed! MORE PICS!!
I came home and this is what I saw...

See the eyecaps...

Thanks for looking everyone!
