My observations of this are that larger experienced moms will make comparatively larger babies. However, relative size and girth of newborns is tied to subspecies and to a lesser extent, locality. Certainly the environment must also have an impact.



BCC, especially of Peru have the largest neonates I've seen, some 25 inches or more and big and strong.
