Last spring I acquired a captive-hatched normal male BP for my kids. He is now apppox 24" and doing great. He eats F/T mice regularly, & most importantly is an EXTREMELY friendly snake who seems to love being handled by my kids & their friends. In short, we expect him to welcome addition to our menagerie for the long term.



Recently, however, there has been some discussion about getting him a "girlfriend". My kids want to get a female BP and put her in the same enclosure with our current male. I am wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with doing something like this. My main concern is that I don't want to do anything that might change our current BP's sweet disposition, or be detrimental in some other way.
