The overall measurement per section is 24" wide x 18" deep x 36" tall. Each section holds two 58 quarts and two 18 quarts (which are 9" tall as opposed to 12" tall) on the bottom shelf side by side.



The reason I built them in 36" tall sections was to make them easier to move (less weight) and more versatile. I can stack two of them and end up with four adult cages and four juvie cages and just under 6 feet high...meaning I can set something else (like a 10 gallon tank or supplies) on top of the racks if needed...or I can use them as stands for other cages.
