I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there are not very many herpers in the State of Indiana. You can proably count them on one hand. Don't get me wrong, there are those that keep an Iguana or a Red ear Slider, but if your looking for someone who keeps and breeding Herps, your not going to find very many in this State (Indiana).
The main reason is the stupid laws that govern us and what we are allowed to maintain, or in this case, what we are not allowed to maintain.
I use to go to the Hamburg show all the time. Took twelve hours to travel from Indianapolis to Hamburg. That was back in the day when I had a huge venomous collection. In 1998, my state made it illegal to buy, sell, breed or keep venomous (there is a permit system in place, but you would need to jump thru ten hoops and sign your life away to get a permit for a single animal). So, it pretty much killed that part of the Hobby here.
Indiana was never well known in producing well known Herpers anyways.
