Perhaps when they get older they will eventually double to 8,000 grams but can you imagine a ball twice as heavy as those biggest ones you have seen so far? If it follows the trend of smaller females to lay 1/3 of it’s weight it’s clutch should weigh 2,666 grams and even with huge 120 gram eggs it should lay 22 (even at 130 grams/egg it would still lay 20). Maybe the really big girls put less into their clutches or maybe this one will set a new record. [ Hide Replies ]
