Yesterday I bought a beautiful gravid orange flame female from the San Diego show for a steal at only $75.. Turns out she was due sooner than I thought because this morning I found an egg in the cage on the paper towel (instead of the laying box I left in her cage). It's obviously fertile and is doing very well and being incubated at 80 degrees, but the problem is I only found ONE egg. I'm pretty sure she was carrying two since I saw bulges on each side of her stomach, but so far she hasn't been in much of a hurry getting the second egg out. Should I be worried about her becoming egg bound? She did have a long ride home (about 3 hours) and I'm afraid she got a little too stressed out... Does anyone else have females that lay eggs hours or even days apart? I've included a picture of her. Still can't believe she was only 75.
