RE: injuries... what should i do

One I bought from Petco because of a unusual coloration had a tail exactly as you describe with the dead appearing tail on the end .(dry lifeless looking)

I was particuarly concerned because the closest info I could find was about iguanas and getting dry gangreen .

My local vet gave me a darned if I know reply.

Anthony suggested I simply play it out and see what happens .Nearly a month later the tail looks no worse and he has some use of it .He eats well ,is growing rapidly and is one of my most alert Geckos.

That being the case Ild suggest you let nature handle this one if you can.
